What we believe

How puzzles are made

Our generator splits the grid into random thermometers (straight or curved), picks a fill level for each, and computes the row and column clues. A solver then checks every possible fill. If more than one solution exists, the generator reveals a cell that tells them apart and checks again, repeating until the solution is unique. It then removes any revealed cells that turned out to be unnecessary.
